Clemson head coach Brad Brownell has added another key piece to his 2025-26 roster, as Middle Tennessee transfer guard Jestin Porter has committed to the Tigers, per TiptonEdits. Porter marks the sixth portal pickup for Clemson this offseason as the staff continues to reshape the roster.
Porter, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 15.0 points per game for the Blue Raiders last season while shooting 41.1% from the field. A reliable perimeter threat, he also knocked down 36.5% of his shots from beyond the arc and converted 82.2% of his free throws, showcasing a well-rounded scoring arsenal.
The Houston, Texas native brings experience and scoring punch to a Clemson backcourt that’s undergone some offseason turnover. Porter’s ability to create offense off the dribble and stretch the floor with his shooting makes him a valuable addition, especially in the ACC where guard play is at a premium.
With this move, the Tigers continue to build momentum in the transfer portal, reinforcing their backcourt depth and adding proven production. Porter is expected to compete for major minutes right away as Clemson looks to build on its recent NCAA Tournament appearance.
