Coach Shawn Poppie and the Clemson Tigers Women’s Basketball program have received a commitment from 2026 four-star guard/forward Kimora Fields, out of Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tennessee. Fields, ranked as the No. 32 overall player in the class of 2026 according to the 2026 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings - Super 60, chose the Tigers over notable programs including Mississippi State, Wake Forest, and Georgia, among others.

Fields has been instrumental in the recent success of the Bradley Central Bearettes, who recently completed a remarkable three-peat as champions in the TSSAA Class 4A State Championship. Following this achievement, Fields was honored with the prestigious TSSAA Class 4A Miss Basketball award. She also reached another significant personal milestone during the state tournament by surpassing the 2,000-point mark for her high school career.

According to On3's Talia Goodman, Fields had a genuinely great feeling about the Tigers, especially the staff, saying,

“I’ve been talking to them for a while,” Fields told On3. “I feel like they really pride themselves on their culture and I feel like it really is one big family. Even when I was just on campus for my visits, I just felt like I could see myself being there. I think that Coach [Shawn] Poppie is trying to do really great things with the program. I think that they’re very authentic. I feel like they’re very real. I could truly tell that they were real and authentic towards me and I felt like that was a really big part. The main thing really was just feeling like being a part of a family.”

Expect Coach Poppie and this staff to bring in more highly touted players, as the great culture attracts them.
