At the conclusion of the Clemson and Pittsburgh meet last night, Trinity Brown sustained an injury during her exhibition floor routine. In severe pain and unable to leave the floor on her own, she was assisted by trainers. Today, Trinity Brown announced on Instagram that she has ruptured her Achilles tendon and will not be returning this season. A redshirt junior from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Brown has mostly competed on vault, uneven bars, and floor for the Tigers. Last night, she earned a 9.825 on vault. Brown will hopefully have another chance to compete next season. We are wishing Trinity Brown a swift and complete recovery.
